The pedigree of this course is unbeatable. It gives you access to more than 90 per cent of the UK’s academic expertise in nuclear waste immobilisation, decommissioning and clean up.

We run the course in partnership with fellow members of the Nuclear Technology Education Consortium (NTEC). The NTEC team includes world-leading academics from the Universities of Birmingham, Leeds, London, Manchester and Sheffield.

Based at the Immobilisation Science Laboratory and can register with the NTEC in Sheffield.

Based at the Immobilisation Science Laboratory in Sheffield, you’ll take eight
modules on the nuclear fuel cycle.

Topics include reactor materials and nuclear waste management. Each module includes a week at one of our partner universities.
