The MA Early Years Professional Practice has been designed for Early Years practitioners and allows you to receive academic recognition for existing knowledge and skills, work-based learning, or modules taken at other institutions.

Programme structure

Previous relevant qualifications, knowledge or skills can count towards your final award and by combining them with further study at the University of Chichester, you can achieve awards at three levels: the Postgraduate Certificate, the Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Arts.

The course offers a flexible and responsive approach to meeting the CPD requirements of employers and practitioners. It addresses current agendas for flexible, practice-focused and work-based, post-qualifying training. The course is tailored to individual interests and development needs, as well as current and future career goals. Content includes work-based projects and activities, enabling students to effect real change in their own organisation, within an academic framework.

The MA consists of three phases:

Phase 1 – Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) Early Years Professional Practice

Phase 2 – Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) Early Years Professional Practice

Phase 3 – MA Early Years Professional Practice
