Entry qualification

High school / secondary education (or higher) ‘A’-Level / High School Diploma (or equivalent). Without ‘A’-Level: Pre-entry course for university or other equivalent type of university entrance qualification The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / German. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

Language requirements	German A2 level German (according to the European Framework of Reference)

Other requirements	A motivation letter must be added to your application. It is preferred that you write your motivation letter in German language. Please also add a CV to your documents Note that an interview is part of the admissions procedure.It can be conducted over the Internet.

Overview

This programme has been designed for applicants, who do not have the necessary German language skills yet to apply for one of the German-taught degree programmes at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Graduates of this programme will have earned the “B2-German” qualification according to the European reference framework which is required to apply for all programmes offered by the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
The programme consists of the acquirement of language diplomas B1 and B2, cross-cultural preparation of the stay in Austria and special courses according to participants’ interest with respect to their future study programme.
