| Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) You must have finished at least 3 years of bachelor studies in relevant subject area. * Must have completed 3 or 4 years of studies at bachelor level at a university. The content of this education must have an overlap of about 70% with the Creative Media and Game Technologies programme. Depending on your previous education will be decided if you van be accepted for the SDP, if it will be a one, one or two year programme and what the content of the programme will be. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. |

| Other requirements | At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. A relevant portfolio is required. An interactive portfolio (website, weblog, Flickr album or something similar) to prove your previously acquired technical skills and the ability to design. You need to submit a CV, testimonials, a letter of motivation and an interactive portfolio. You also need to submit a list of subjects you studied with a short explanation of these subjects. By means of an interview (via Skype) your application will be discussed. If possible you can do the intake assessment at Saxion. At the end of the interview you will know if you are accepted or not and if you can do the SDP in one or two years. The result is final and binding. At the beginning of the course you will have to do an assessment. The result of the assessment is a plan for the content of the SDP and a planning in time. There is a possibility that the outcome is a change in the amount of time is necessary to fulfil the requirements to graduate. |

A virtual reality game, an interactive video and visual effects in movies have more in common than you might think. These products are all created by teams that combine creativity, technology and experience. Creative Media and Game Technologies (CMGT) offers you precisely this magical combination.
As the name indicates, CMGT will teach you everything you want to know about creative media and game technologies. In the first year you can experiment with different roles and choose the one that is best suited for you. Depending on your preference you will either move in the direction of interactive media in general or specialize in games.
Career opportunities
The professional field you will enter, is very wide and incredibly international. There are many well-known companies where you can get started, but there are also exciting small companies you could join. With CMGT you can also start your own business. A degree in CMGT prepares you for a range of jobs such as game designer, animator, VR/AR designer, art director and many more.
