Overview
After the Volkswagen exposé in 2015 and the Panama Papers scandal, it’s safe to say the world needs caring financial professionals. It’s easy to have that ‘lightbulb moment’ idea, but not so easy to implement sustainable cost planning. That’s why the three-year International Financial Management and Control programme trains you how to become the beating heart of any business and improve the world you live in.
During IFMC you’ll break the mould of the ‘boring’ accountant. You’ll discover finance from both entrepreneurial and socially responsible perspectives. This means you’ll learn all about management and marketing. But the main focus will be on financial and cost accounting. Using economic data to make a difference. In year one, you’ll learn about organisational costs and business administration and how to set up an investment plan for regional, national and international companies. In your second year, you’ll hit the ground running with business issues, which you’ll have to solve in hands-on group projects. In year three, you’ll start your journey as a ‘manager of change’ in a small and medium-sized enterprise, a government institution or a multinational before finishing off with a minor and thesis to get you ready for your dream career.
Career opportunities
The IFMC programme will give you the skills you need to improve your world – and be financially independent. You’ll be ready to deal with business and management decisions from both entrepreneurial and socially responsible perspectives.

This is how you can make a change. We call it business + impact.
