Entry qualification	Undergraduate diploma (or higher) The program is intended for graduates with an academic diploma or bachelor’s degree in design or architecture. Students with a different degree or diploma will be considered if they are motivated by a significant interest in the program’s topics. A commission will evaluate candidates on a case-by-case basis. Participants not holding a first-level bachelor’s degree/academic diploma will not receive the 120 educational credits and the Master of Arts diploma, but will instead earn a certificate. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Students holding a bachelor’s degree from an institution outside Italy must contact the Italian embassy or consulate in the country where the degree was issued and ask for the perfezionamento documenti, which consists of: - An Italian translation, made by a certified translator, of your bachelor’s degree diploma. - An Italian translation, made by a certified translator, of your academic transcripts. - Dichiarazione di valore in loco (Declaration of Value) of your bachelor’s degree. The Dichiarazione di valore in loco is a document attesting that the academic qualification you earned is valid for enrollment in Italian universities and academies. The notarized and translated documents, as well as the Dichiarazione di valore in loco, will either be sent to NABA by your Italian consulate or embassy, or will be directly issued to you. In the latter case, you need to submit them to NABA’s International Admissions Office as soon as available.

The MA enables students to understand the new social needs of the contemporary age, exploring new scenarios for the global designer. When it is aimed at defining social development strategies, the design is able to valorise human and natural resources, to drive sustainable innovation, to promote local communities development and to activate social evolution dynamics, through a global “coopetitive” approach.

Over the MA, students will have the opportunity to:

- Learn a design methodology crossed with the skills to operate in social, cultural and political initiatives
- Develop projects aimed to activate social communities and to valorize environmental as well as urban and natural, contexts, through real case studies
