| Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: Italian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. In order to enroll in a Bachelor of Arts program, you must either have an Italian secondary school diploma (maturità) or an equivalent secondary/high school diploma that is legalized by the Italian embassy located in the country whose educational system the title belongs to. This diploma must be translated and notarized by the Italian embassy or consulate in the country where the diploma was issued, regardless of the school’s actual location. For example, if you studied on the French campus of a German school and received a diploma issued by the German Ministry of Education, that diploma must be validated by the Italian consulate in Germany. The embassy or consulate will provide a “Declaration of Value” (Dichiarazione di valore in loco) for the diploma. |

PROJECT ASSIGNMENT PROJECT ASSIGNMENT FOR THE BA IN MEDIA DESIGN: Your task shall include an example of your storytelling skills. It shall be articulated as follows: A relevant portfolio is required. (Alternative option to the project assignement) In order to apply and be considered for admission to the BA/Diploma programs, you shall pay the application fee of €100,00 The admissions test is a distance evaluation based on the submission of: NABA will consider your attitude to be especially relevant—that is, your level of motivation in choosing NABA, taking on your specific program, and working toward the related professional role. If you lack educational preparation in some subjects that are part of the admissions test, this will not have a negative impact on your admission, provided you demonstrate enthusiasm and passion. |

Overview
The BA provides students with the tools to interpret and participate in the complex reality of contemporary media. It focuses on the key aspects/main issues of the audiovisual production, in the increasingly hybrid environment of cinema, video games and animation, exploring language, history, writing, techniques of shooting, editing, and postproduction, 2D and 3D animations, direction of photography, sound design, game design and interactive multimedia installations.
Over the BA, students will have the opportunity to gain skills in:

- Design and development of interactive and transmedia projects

Film making
It focuses on the topic of linear audiovisual productions (cinema, web, tv series, promotional videos), providing students with the design tools to deal with the ideation, pre-production and post-production phases.
Animation
The student acquires the tools for the production of animation projects, from the writing and the art direction to the learning of stop-motion, 2D digital animation and animation of 3D objects techniques.
Game Design
Explores the infinite possibilities of non-linear interactivity, through a thorough study of the game culture and the learning of the fundamental principles of game design.
