| Other requirements | A motivation letter must be added to your application. A relevant portfolio is required. Student selections are made on the basis of a motivation letter, design assignments, English language test and an online interview. Applicants that pass the design assignments and motivation letter part of the selection process will be invited to the English language test and an online interview. Entrance examination is held online. All eligible applicants will be invited to the entrance examination by 23 November 2020. The invitation provides instructions for making a motivation letter and design assignments. The entrance examination consists of two parts: a motivation letter, design assignments and English language test plus interview. The motivation letter and design assignments are done 29-30 November and the English language test is organised 1 December 2020. The motivation letter is evaluated as passed/failed and design assignments is graded 0-100. Applicants need to get a pass mark in the motivation letter and at least 50 points out of 100 in the design assignments in order to pass. Applicants need to get approved result in the English language test in order to proceed to the interview. Applicants that pass the first part of the entrance examination will be invited to an online interview. Applicants need to pass the interview in order to be approved. English language test is organised 1 December 2020 and the interviews are organised on 9 -10 December 2020. Applicants will be accepted directly on the basis of the first part of the entrance examination without an English language test and an online interview if they have achieved at least a total score of 6.5 in the IELTS language test. There is a need for service and user experience design, where social media competence, marketing expertise and visualization expertise are combined with designer competence. In our design education you can choose your major subject in fashion, footwear or glass and ceramics design. After studies you will master all the steps from product design to manufacturing. Smart and sustainable design education enables you to work as a designer in companies in different fields and in the public sector, or act as an entrepreneur. Designers are increasingly setting up businesses and working in a diverse range of creative industries.
