Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in any subject with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification. Applications from those with significant professional experience in politics and international relations will be considered individually. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.

Language requirements	English IELTS: 6.0 (including a minimum of 5.5 in each component)

Other requirements	At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. The reference should be on letterhead paper and preferably typewritten. A motivation letter must be added to your application.

Overview

This course is designed to provide a detailed understanding of the evolution of diplomacy and the way in which diplomacy is practised in the contemporary world. It tackles a number of broader issues that impact on diplomatic processes, such as the way in which states operate in regional organisations such as the European Union, the threat of organised crime and terrorism and the role of multinational corporations and companies.
