Ideally suited to students who have previously completed a related foundation degree, HND or equivalent qualification; this one-year top-up will help you to develop your understanding of global trends, management strategies and the interconnectivity that exists between the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Upon successful completion of the course you will have earned a full undergraduate degree.
The curriculum you’ll study covers a variety of relevant topics including global trends in tourism; cultural heritages; business management and international marketing. Each unit looks at issues as they relate to the travel and tourism industry, encouraging you to use your existing knowledge and apply it in combination with new skills.
The course also has a strong focus on employability, helping you to develop transferable business and management skills that can be applied in a wide range of careers. Theory is reinforced through discussions with peers and industry experts, case-studies, problem solving exercises and critiques – all carried out with the direct support of our experienced course team.
