Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) A minimum 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, usually in law or a subject with a sufficient legal component The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

Language requirements	English Accepted proof of proficiency: Cambridge English, IELTS, TOEFL or other equivalent IELTS: 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component TOEFL (IBT): Overall score of 80 or above, with at least 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking CAE: Overall score of 176 or above, with at least 162 in each component

Other requirements	At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. These should be supplied and signed by academic staff at institutions where you have studied previously. They must be presented on the official letter-headed paper of the relevant institution. There are weekly seminars in each subject area. You’re assessed on essays and a dissertation. Whether or not a module runs in a particular year depends on staff availability and the number of students who choose the module.
