Entry qualification

Undergraduate diploma (or higher) At least a Bachelor degree or postgraduate diploma from a UK university or equivalent. The degree must be in a relevant subject The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Upload documents in original language and translations. Take originals along when you go to study.

Language requirements	English Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE, CAE or CPE, IELTS 7+ or TOEFL 100+ IELTS : Score 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in any band. Or Cambridge English(CAE): Advanced Minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component. Please note: TOEFL IBT test will not be accepted for September 2015 entry.

The past few decades have seen enormous growth in international commerce, increasing the importance and prominence of international commercial law. This area of law provides a basis for international business transactions and the development of international markets. The LLM in International Commercial Law is ideally suited to those students wishing to specialise in the international dimension of commercial law. Career opportunities

The Careers Network

The Careers Network organises regular events including presentations by top law firms and the annual Law Fair. It also runs workshops to help students prepare effective applications and to prepare for their next move. Its events on non-law careers, including journalism, marketing and working with charities, can be of interest to law students.

Mooting

The Law School organises a range of mooting opportunities and students have the opportunity to participate (a moot is a mock trial of a legal issue). The Moot Room was refurbished in 2011 and is now a state-of-the-art court room, complete with audio-visual equipment for recording moots. The Law School operates four mooting competitions, and students regularly represent the University at regional and national competitions, with notable success.
